Focus on windows and sun protection
During the run-up to R+T Asia, the project managers enhanced the event concept
and included the new subject area of “windows”. The objective was to focus more
closely on the duo “windows and sun protection” and their practical combination
with a separate exhibition section. This objective was ultimately attained thanks to
the début of the “Window Zone” in the special show entitled “InnovAction area”
in which new products from the segments of windows and internal sun protection
were presented. Due to the higher demand for energy-efficient products and
combined solutions, R+T Asia devoted an area of 400 square metres to this topic.
Since the “InnovAction area“ proved to be a success this year, it will be enlarged
in 2016.

The International Window & Door Summit (IWDS), which was attended by
industrial experts from all over the world, was also crowned with success
again. Against the background of the highly topical key subject of “universal
design – doors/gates, windows and sun protection in the building shell”,
discussions were held regarding specific industry know-how and the latest trends
from market leaders. Through this interdisciplinary subject, the IWDS once again
reinforced its status as the industry meeting point with an international profile,
which brings the Chinese and the western market closer together.

The Chinese market attracts many industry leaders from throughout the world.
Somfy, Hörmann, Forest, Gale, Sambo, Glen Raven, Activa, Winplus, Doorhan,
Assa Abloy and many others have already exhibited at R+T Asia, thus gaining
access to the Asian market. R+T Asia is the leading industry platform in the
